Apply sparingly using a soft cloth, paint brush or sealant applicator pad to the surface. Remove unabsorbed excess within 1 hour. Porous surfaces may require more than one application. Leave to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before allowing traffic. Keep as dry as possible for the first 3 days. External surfaces: no further treatment necessary. Internal surfaces: can be finished with LTP Colour Intensifier or LTP Clear or Antique Wax or LTP Ironwax Satin or Gloss. Important: Used cloths should be burnt as they may spontaneously combust. Allow good ventilation during application. Avoid working in direct sunlight; rapid oxidization may inhibit effectiveness. Excess sealer that is left to dry on the surface can be removed with white spirit

LTP’s Solvex can used on most materials to remove sticky residue left over on your product. Wax , Silicone, Acrylic, Polyurethane Sealers and Residual Epoxy Grout For Stone, Travertine, Terracotta, Slate, Sandstone, Flag-stones, Quarry Tiles, Glazed Ceramic and Porcelain. All can be removed/used with LTP’s Solvex

For application and cleaning tools see our Tools Section. Pour contents into a glass or metal container (not plastic). Apply generously by dabbing on with a cloth or brush. Work in manageable areas of no more than 5 sq metre and do not brush out. Leave for up to 30 minutes, but do not allow the solution to dry out. If drying should occur within 30 minutes apply a little more solution. Use a course, stiff brush or abrasive pad to remove softened coating from the surface. Repeat the process if unwanted material remains. Wash down with a dilute solution of LTP Grimex, rinse with plenty of water and leave to dry (min 24hrs) before resealing. Use natural fibre brushes. Brushes made from synthetic fibres may be damaged by this product. If you are unsure of correct application methods, test on an inconspicuous area, prior to general application. If removing residues from epoxy grout; apply making sure to avoid prolonged contact with the joint as well. Viscous solution should not drip if used on vertical surfaces. Protect acrylic surfaces such as baths and shower trays from
contact.

Solvex should be used on any leftover sticky residue. Suitable for removing most wax, oil, silicone, acrylic, polyure-thane sealers and residual epoxy grout. After washing and rinsing, surfaces are ideal for re-sealing.

Preparation:
Ensure surface to be treated is completely free from dust and dirt
before application. If necessary, first wash area with LTP
Powerstripper diluted 1 : 10 with water.
Application:
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Do not dilute. Completely cover the
rust stain with the product. Leave to act for 15 minutes. The product
colour will change to a deep purple as it reacts with the rust. Once
the indicated time has elapsed remove the residue and rinse the
surface thoroughly with plenty of water and leave to dry. Repeat
application until the stain is completely removed.

This product is used when any flooring is stained by rust, commonly from garden tables & chairs with metal legs. Water will deteriorate the metal into rust, therefore rusty water will drip down from the legs and onto either your porcelain or natural stone product causing a stain like here.

Surface cleaning: 1:12 in warm water
Deep stripping: 1:6 in warm water
In extreme cases: 1:4 in warm water (e.g.Removal of
linseed oil)
Sweep or dry mop floor to remove grit and surface dirt. Mix solution according to required dilution. Working in manageable sized areas, mop on solution to thoroughly wet floor. Leave for 5 – 10 minutes, keeping floor damp with further solution should it begin to be absorbed. Agitate surface using a mildly abrasive pad. If the floor will stand up to it, machine scrub with a stripping pad. Remove resulting dirty residue using clean warm water and absorbent cloths. If treating a large area a wet vacuum will prove helpful. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before applying further treatments. You may need to repeat washing process a couple of times on severely contaminated
surfaces.

LTP’s Porcelain Tile Protector can be used on any type of porcelain floor, internal & external.

Preparation:
Ensure surface to be treated is completely clean, dry and free from dirt, grime, cement and grout. If necessary, first wash surfaces with a dilute solution of LTP Grimex 1:5 and white pad. Rinse well to remove residues and leave to dry
Application:

Shake bottle before use. Before grouting apply evenly to the surface using a broad paint brush, foam roller or light pressure sprayer. Allow to dry for 30 minutes. Apply a second coat. Leave to cure for a minimum of 1 hour before
grouting or pointing. Once pointing is dry and all residues have been removed a further coat of protector can be applied covering the joints as well.
